Hi I'm

Javier Francisco Hernández

About me
With over three years of freelance experience as a Data Analyst, I’ve navigated the dynamic landscape of data technologies with a keen focus on tools like Apache Spark. My journey has been one of continuous growth, mastering the art of processing vast datasets swiftly and efficiently. However, I’ve also understood the significance of validating my expertise. Along this path, AWS (Amazon Web Services) certifications emerged as a beacon of recognition. Achieving these certifications not only solidified my confidence but also opened doors to exciting opportunities, further emphasizing the importance of constant learning and certification as integral aspects of my ongoing data analytics voyage.

Experience

Data Analysis, visualization and forecasting of store inventory.

I’ve experience applying Apache Spark to perform ETL tasks on extensive retail store chain datasets, ensuring seamless data transformation. This process has enabled me to generate meaningful visualizations and predictive models using AWS QuickSight. These insights have been instrumental in optimizing store operations, inventory management, and sales forecasting, contributing to informed decision-making within the retail business.

Data analysis and visualization of municipal electoral results.

Analysis of municipal election results in Olancho department of Honduras. My responsibilities encompassed data preparation, cleaning, and visualization using QuickSight. This hands-on experience allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in processing election data, ensuring accuracy, and presenting meaningful insights to stakeholders. It was a rewarding journey that honed my analytical skills and deepened my appreciation for the significance of data-driven decision-making in the context of local elections.

Data lake ingestion pipeline.

I spearheaded the setup of a streamlined data pipeline for an architectural firm. Multiple AWS S3 buckets were efficiently orchestrated with Lambda functions to facilitate seamless data flow. These buckets were consolidated within an AWS Data Lake, streamlining data storage and accessibility. To ensure secure access control, AWS Cognito was implemented. This comprehensive solution enhanced data management, optimized workflow efficiency, and bolstered security for the architectural firm.
